Your eyes register less than four ten-thousandths of the entire spectrum of electromagnetic waves.
Your hearing ends at twenty thousand hertz—
where nature begins to sing songs for other creatures.
Your sense of touch recognizes only a fraction
of the vibrations of matter.
What you do not perceive does not cease to exist.
Light invisible to the eye still moves through space.
Sounds inaudible to the ear still resonate.
Your senses do not reveal the whole of reality.
They show only a narrow slice.
Like a filter that veils the truth…
or perhaps protects it?

But imagination crosses them.
It is like the wind beneath your wings...
